Women in Horror is a place to show the world what women have done for horror and what we can do. A place to honor those who have made an impact. A place to focus on what should change and what should not. And most importantly, a place to make more women publicly scream their love for the genre.

*clears throat and scares away the crickets*

What a way to start a blog! One real post and then going silent for weeks! Sounds professional to me!

Well to tell the truth I know how bad this looks and I am prepared to explain! The week I started this blog (after years of planning it and 9 months of unemployment) I got a job! What I wasn't counting on was how drained working again would make me.

Luckily I am starting to feel better and so I can promise you a new post at the end of the week and then? Well, let's just say regular scheduled updates might actually get underway!

(By "might" I mean "will")
